Interview with Kent Didriksen

How long have you been working with Jennifer and her team at GreatOceanCondos.com?

I have been working with Great Ocean Condos since 2012.

Did you work with a different management team before then?

Prior to working with GOC, I rented our unit either through direct communication with prospective renters or through the SCG Management

What led you to choose GreatOceanCondos.com over the competition?

I decided to give GOC a try with the expectation of additional rental income, 24 hour communication potential, full time and local management of my property, and full time assistance when and if something went wrong with the unit. I live 1100 miles away and having GOC “there”, on site, is very helpful.

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

Things happen, things break or fail, and I have had the benefit of having GOC there to (1) notify me, (2) suggest and handle whatever repair(s) are needed, and to keep me informed when there is a “natural” event that could potentially damage the property. We visited our unit after the last hurricane and found that GOC had taken the steps to put dry bags in our unit to ensure against mold after the loss of power. These folks earn their salt.

Have you seen an increase in bookings for your rental property since working with GreatOceanCondos.com?

Our bookings have approximately doubled from the days when the condo management handled rentals.

Why would you recommend GreatOceanCondos.com to other property owners?

Most definitely–I would and have recommended GOC to others.


Interview with Lawrence and Pat Green

How long have you been working with Jennifer and her team at GreatOceanCondos.com?

We have been with GOC since July, 2010.

Did you work with a different management team before then?

We did work for four months (March – June, 2010) with another real estate/rental company in New Smyrna Beach. During that time, they produced no rental bookings.

What led you to choose GreatOceanCondos.com over the competition?

We spoke with another owner at Oceanwalk who highly recommended GOC. Upon review of GOC’s website, we were amazed at how advanced GOC’s online booking process was. We saw immediate results from the first week.

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

GOC has always been quick to respond to any problems we have had. Both owners and renters get immediate feedback. GOC was quick to respond and send a team out to check for damages after the hurricane. They promptly inspected and determined that we had water intrusion which gave us the ability to quickly take care of the problem.

Interview with Judy Aldrich

How long have you been working with Jennifer and her team at GreatOceanCondos.com?

We signed up with GOC several years before they were hired for SeaCoast Garden hired they as their management team.

Did you work with a different management team before then?

We have owned our condo since 1989 and have always used the in-house management for managing our condo.

What led you to choose GreatOceanCondos.com over the competition?

Our rental income dropped tremendously with the previous company and we wanted better rental revenue.

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

Probably the series of storms especially when our air condition was damaged. We had guests in our unit at that time. First, they immediately took care of our guests needs and then helped us with the process to replace the heating/air conditioning. They also checked our unit during the process to make sure we had no inside water damage and continued to monitor our unit for dampness and took precautions to limit as much as possible.

Have you seen an increase in bookings for your rental property since working with GreatOceanCondos.com?

Our rental income has almost double. Due to the increase in income we were able to renovate our kitchen.

Why would you recommend GreatOceanCondos.com to other property owners?

Yes, I have recommended GOC several times and those who signed with GOC they have seen the same results as we have. I can think of one owner who stayed with the in-house and eventually they sold due to lake of rental income.

How long have you been working with Jennifer and her team at GreatOceanCondos.com?

Did you work with a different management team before then?

No

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

We saw a sheet with the rental record of one of Jennifer’s other properties and were very impressed, then we met her and were more impressed, then we asked for her advice and were even more impressed, but the killer is the simple the facts. Our property has been doing far better than our best case scenarios and we sleep well at night knowing that if there is any problem with one of our guests or anything doesn’t work in the house it will be dealt with immediately.

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

Every single time! It has never taken Great Oceans more than an hour to get back to us and with solutions.

Have you seen an increase in bookings for your rental property since working with GreatOceanCondos.com?

We gave our property to Jennifer the moment we bought and it was rented on the first week it was available. We never felt the need to go to another management company.

Interview with Terry Hirt

How long have you been working with Jennifer and her team at GreatOceanCondos.com?

I purchased my NSB condo in 2007.

Did you work with a different management team before then?

Shortly after I began renting it through the rental company at the condo itself. For the next 2 years I was so frustrated with poor communication, my unit being empty most of the time and the general lack of enthusiasm or knowledge from the managing rental company. I decided in 2010 to not rent anymore. For the next few years I didn’t rent or rented it myself.

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

I honestly was scared to even begin to think about getting another rental company. Jennifer happened to own a unit in the same complex as myself. I heard her at several complex meetings asking questions that I myself needed answers to. Sometime after that I heard that she had opened a rental company. Honestly I was scared to even rent again but the more I heard her at board meetings the more impressed I was. So in 2013 I decided to try again, called Great Ocean Condos and have never looked back. I signed my paperwork with Great Ocean Condos and will never forget the first week I had my unit rented for the next 3 months.

Can you share a time when the staff were quickly able to help you with a problem?

I will never forget the friendliness and efficiency of all I encountered that first few weeks. Even today it continues. Everyone is friendly, knowledgeable, eager and helpful. I can call or email anytime day or night and always get a prompt answer to any question or problems. GOC’s truly cares about owners and renters and wants us all to succeed. My only regret is the few years I wasted not allowing GOC’s to manage my unit.

Have you seen an increase in bookings for your rental property since working with GreatOceanCondos.com?

It stays rented most of the year, not only Winter and Summer but those months in the Fall when most complex units are empty. Jennifer is amazing at what she does, it shows through her success in her company, happy owners, and happy renters.

Why would you recommend GreatOceanCondos.com to other property owners?

My ONLY recommendation is Great Ocean Condos. I look forward to many more years of a successful rental company/owner partnership.
