The Beauty of New Smyrna Beach
New Smyrna is a barrier island positioned between the Atlantic Ocean and the Indian River. The beaches of New Smyrna stretch over 13 miles along the sandy east coast of Central Florida. Play in the surf, gather seashells, or build a sandcastle with your kids or grandkids. From Ponce de Leon Inlet, you can embark on a great deep-sea fishing adventure. Or choose to stay closer to the shore for excellent flats fishing in Mosquito Lagoon, famous for its redfish.
Though New Smyrna is a small historic town, the city offers a wide selection of shopping, dining, and cultural experiences for both its residents and guests. From beachside burger joints to restaurants serving fresh local seafood, there's something for everyone.

March 30, 2020 - "The pictures don't give it justice! This house was amazing! I brought two of my teenage kids along with a friend to get out of town for awhile b/c of the coronavirus. We ended up staying longer than planned. The house has everything, all brand new and very clean. The best of both worlds, walk to the ocean and on the other side the Indian River Inlet. Short 3 mile drive to Ponce River water sports. Make sure you go out with Captian John for a fishing trip, tubing, water skis, or happy hour. We will 100% be returning!!" - Joan S., Bethesda, MD

August 28, 2019 - "I've been to this house twice, once with my boyfriend and once with my sister and her family of four. It was nothing short of amazing. You are 5 minutes from the beach and 5 from the river/inter coastal boardwalk. The owners left a book of things to do; restaurants, places to see and fun activities. The furniture is super comfortable especially the beds and linens! The kitchen is big, updated and there were lots of utensils, cookware, serving dishes and plates if you want to cook sometimes. The location is really what can't be beat. You have a wagon to bring your things to and from the beach which seems like you are at a private beach! We were amazed at how much room we had to ourselves. Also, you really can't beat the stars at night, not a lot of light pollution, so you feel like you in a planetarium. There are also two single person kayaks to drop in near the boardwalk, they have kayak launch there that makes it really easy even if you are by yourself. To get the kayaks to the launch they are attached to these cool little walkable trailer things I had never seen before. It was really easy. My boyfriend and I kayak a lot and this was a great bonus! You can also fish at the beach or off the boardwalk or by kayak too. All in all, I felt so relaxed and at home in this cute house. I would highly recommend checking it out! Thanks for the great stay!" - Laura S.
