November 7, 2014 – Perfect Weekend Getaway. Had the opportunity to spend a long weekend in this unit in the fall of 2014 and it’s an absolutely wonderful spot to get away from it all. The complex is clean and quiet, with parking and elevator convenient to the unit. Inside, the living room, kitchen and dining areas are cheery and tastefully accented with Florida-themed art. Comfortable beds, even in the guest room. There’s a nice flat-screen TV, but we didn’t use it much, even to watch college football on a guy’s weekend. Instead, we spent most of our time on that balcony! Although the pictures are lovely, they don’t do justice to the view of the dunes and the ocean below. At night, it’s dark enough to unwind by surveying the stars. We didn’t cook (guy’s weekend, remember?) because the oysters, grouper sandwiches and chowder at J.B.’s Fish Camp were only a few miles south on A1A. Classic old-Florida. We even walked to the restaurant one afternoon, but that’s recommended for fitness buffs only. Better to conserve your energy on that balcony, where you can pass the time contemplating the distance to the horizon. You’ll love this beach retreat.”
