A two-minute walk across the street and right past the lifeguard stand and you are on the beautiful non-driving Bethune Beach where there are miles of beach without any commercial activity. For land lovers, the back screened-in balcony overlooks the seasonally heated complex pool, shuffleboard courts, and a grassy common area. Bethune Beach Community Park is only ½ a block away and provides tennis, basketball, and volleyball courts. The park also has a playground and a brand-new large pavilion with a boardwalk overlooking the river and inlet. You can also launch your kayak from here and paddle while watching the dolphins and manatees play. Less than a mile away is the entrance to the Canaveral National Seashore National Park.
