LaKaSa House on Hill Street

This was a great place to stay at! Right on the beach with a great view. There wasn’t a pathway on the property, but an easy walkway right when you exit the house next door. The place was a bit more outdated than what the pictures showed, but otherwise everything was clean and the bedrooms were large and comfortable. It was great having four bathrooms with a large group. Very close to many restaurants and places to explore. Thank you!

We had a wonderful time in this house with my children, grandchildren and Grand dog. We were in NSB to celebrate my dad's 90th birthday and this spot was perfect. The house is beautiful, comfortable, well stocked and had an amazing view of the ocean just steps from the house. We will be back!

Absolutely fabulous! You simply can't beat the location as its right on the beach & short drive to historic district & Flagler Ave. This part of the beach is very private. The beds, couches are very comfortable & plenty of beach towels. Shower had strong water pressure & towels were thick & nice. Waking up every morning to the sunrise & crashing waves is incredible. This is a great spot for a big group, family or even just a couple like us. Super dog friendly property was a major plus as well. Kitchen is loaded with everything you need. For being right on the beach and close to all the restaurants, shops, stores, etc. you really can't beat it. Can't understand how someone would not enjoy staying here. It was just fantastic and we loved this place and we will be back 100%!!!

Five close friends rode motorcycles from Pennsylvania to New Smyrna Beach for Biketoberfest. The garage was a definite plus to keep the motorcycles free of the morning dew. The house was exactly what we were looking for and not disappointing. The deck facing the ocean was very relaxing in the evening to have a few beers and discuss the days ride. We did cook very little but found the kitchen well stocked with all pots,pans,and utensils needed. The only minor thing I could mention were lack of wash cloths. There were plenty of towels. The lighting in the garage was very limited. All in all I would be happy to recommend to anyone and stay there again.

Our stay at this wonderful beach house was nothing short of amazing! From the moment we stepped in, we were greeted by a spacious, beautifully decorated interior that easily accommodated our family. The proximity to the beach was a dream – just a short, pleasant walk and we were digging our toes into the sand and enjoying the ocean breeze. The convenience of having fantastic restaurants within a stone's throw made dining out a breeze, but the well-stocked kitchen also meant we could whip up our own meals with ease. We were pleasantly surprised by the variety of cooking supplies available, making meal prep a joy. The hosts were incredibly responsive and helpful throughout our stay, making us feel right at home. It's rare to find hosts who genuinely care about their guests' experiences, and it added an extra layer of comfort to our vacation. The highlight of the house was definitely the spacious deck facing the ocean. Whether it was sipping our morning coffee as the sun rose over the water or enjoying a family dinner while watching the sunset, the deck provided a breathtaking backdrop for unforgettable moments. All in all, our family had an unforgettable time at this beach house, and we're already planning our next trip back. This property was in a perfect location and the perfect size for our family! Very clean. A few imperfections from hurricane damage but property manager very receptive to our inquiry. This was the perfect place to stay for our two families. We had 8 people and 3 dogs. We could’ve fit three families. The kitchen is huge and has everything you need to cook. The location was really convenient. We were able to ride our bikes to all of the local spots to eat and shop. Beds were comfy, plenty of hot water for everyone, and they provided lots of beach towels and toys. The house has everything you would need for a beach trip.

Enjoyed this property for a reunion of close friends since high school. It was plenty big enough that everyone had their own room and bathroom but shared the common areas with laughter and good cheer. It was great cooking together in a kitchen that had everything we needed. In between rain showers, we took strolls on the beach right out the back door or sat on the deck watching the waves. Heather with the management company was very accommodating and returned emails very quickly. All in all a wonderful weekend in a great house at a great location.

I stayed here with my bridesmaids for my wedding week. The house is beautiful! Terry was there when we arrived, they had just gotten a delivery of BRAND NEW patio furniture. Terry was very nice and showed us around, the house is so big we might’ve gotten lost without him! Lakasa House was stocked with everything we needed for all the things we wanted to do. Boogie board on the beach? Check. Cook a feast? Easy. We had great weather and took full advantage of the giant balconies and the beach, but we saw that they were stocked with enough games, books, and entertainment for more than a few rainy days. The morning of my wedding, we were never in each others’ way. The 5 bathrooms made getting ready a breeze! And to have my coffee with that view the morning of, that was awesome. Overall we would absolutely stay here again. Great Ocean Condos was wonderful to work with and the entire staff was helpful and nice. 5 stars without question!

We celebrated my sons 18th birthday and thoroughly enjoyed your home. The house was clean and well furnished. It was spacious so his friends could stay in the bonus room with direct access to the beach and my husband and I enjoyed watching them from the deck with cool oceans breezes. So many nearby restaurants made this a perfect location. The handyman showed up immediately to offer any assistance and left his cell phone number we never needed him. We will definitely return!

PROS: Very well appointed kitchen. No problem cooking and serving our crowd. Very large master bedroom on the second floor with a balcony and stunning view of the Atlantic shore. Very spacious walk-in shower in the master bathroom. Open concept living area that opens out to a spacious deck with a panoramic view of the ocean. CONS: Hard to find and minor... Cushions would have been nice for all of the outdoor deck furniture.

We all thought the house was wonderful. The only thing was the master bedroom was warm. Sleeping was not comfortable because of the temperature in the room. We even had our own fan with us.

What a wonderful place for all of us to gather. This was a college graduation celebration for my son and an opportunity for our family to be together for the first time in 35 years. We LOVED the beach house and being directly on the beach!!! The house itself was so roomy and big enough for 6 adults and 4 children. The kitchen we enjoyed how large it was as it was always a gathering place for everyone. The decks that over look the ocean was relaxing and views amazing! Everyone loved being on the beach during the day, swimming and boggy boarding, & in the evening the kids hunted crabs. The area of New Smyrna Beach was very easy to drive to from the Sanford airport and the area itself is so close to so many attractions!! We will rent this property again!

Clean and up to date house on the beach. This place has plenty of space for a large group, a huge kitchen with modern appliances, and great views of the beach. The down town is very accessible by car and may be walkable. The only issue that came up was the back sliding door off the middle floor was difficult to open from the outside.

When entering the beach house, the ambiance was welcoming, vibrant, and relaxing. It was immaculate and incredibly well-maintained. It was wonderful to have the luxury of walking out onto the porch and watch the sunrise every morning and have a variety of amenities available that made our stay even more enjoyable. With 25 of us in the house, there was plenty of space for everyone to sleep comfortably and gather for nightly activities. This beach house has everything you need for that well deserved vacation. The large open layout makes hanging inside just as fun as outside. Large kitchen with island and dining area is great for being the central location in the house. Decor around the house is tastefully made to remind you of the beach atmosphere. The view of the ocean is great while sitting on the deck or top floor balcony, while the ground floor backyard is surrounded by shrubbery for privacy. It really feels like you're at your own place when you stay here and not like you're renting somewhere.

LaKasa is a great place for a large group to stay. It is close to the grocery store, restaurants and bars. The kitchen is fully stocked and the breakfast nook is perfect for group meals or playing games. This house was AMAZING! Perfect location right on the beach. Plenty of things to do in this area, and awesome amenities to use at the house for kids and adults (i.e.- Bikes, Outdoor grill, beach games, floatation devices, boogie boards, etc.) I would also highly suggest renting a pontoon boat for a few hours, that was an amazing experience. We also rented scooters, and went out for a night on the town that started with dinner at "The Garlic" and then drinks at local bars on Flagler Avenue. This was the perfect beach getaway and my friends and I are already planning our summer getaway for 2015 at Lakasa! I HIGHLY suggest you check this place out. Whether you are coming to Smyrna for a family vacation or a weekend getaway with friends, this is a great option.

I was at this house for four days in 2014 with some friends and it was amazing! I can't say enough about this place! The house is in a perfect location right on the beach, the closest hotel is over a mile away, the beach is beautiful, the house itself is incredible and while you're there you feel safe, secure and totally relaxed. I woke up every morning feeling energized and refreshed. If you have the chance to come to this house you should take it! I had an Incredible time and I will definitely be going back!

We stayed here last April, and it was amazing. Clean, well maintained, and extremely spacious PLUS steps away from the beach. It's overall a beautiful and comfortable home. Not only is the beach location perfect, but it is also close enough to walk to the grocery if you feel so inclined. Several people in our group preferred walking to driving, but it's convenient for both. It's also a quick drive downtown. There are 2 decks, as well as a balcony off the master bedroom. It's so easy to immerse yourself in the beach air with all of the outdoor spaces, which was very nice. Definitely excited to revisit this summer!!

Four of us (senior male golfers) rented the Lakasa for a week, hoping to pamper ourselves. Boy, did this house fit the bill. The location is fantastic, right on the beach with fabulous views. You can easily walk down the beach to the funky main street of New Symrna, and the neat shops and bars. The house itself was perfect, with a large and very well-equipped kitchen, a big living room with huge HD TV, 4 large bedrooms each with a large bed and private washroom, and wrap-around balcony with very nice patio furniture. Everything was superb, including the weather, and we plan on returning next year if we can. If only the golf could have been half as good as this place!

The listing is very specific and all pictures were true as shown. There was so much more to this property: the beach being so close and the amenities included...I took way too many condiments and other things! There were so many games and toys for the children---it was HEAVEN for them!! The only thing missing was a "kiddy pool" and that was an easy fix as stores were close by. We were greeted and introduced to the property by the sweetest man---I will always remember my 4 yr old granddaughter observing VERBALLY, "Why is that man naked (shirtless)??"...she's a Milwaukee native so not "exposed" to beach attire---it broke the ice and we explained the difference in living up NORTH and here in Florida! Every day was a great adventure--and the afternoon rain showers were just right for naptimes and recharging our batteries! That same grand=-daughter recently drew a picture for me (BeBe)--it was of the view from the ocean, looking at the house and the blue beach chairs...she still refers to it as "BeBe's beach house"!!! We will treasure the memories for years to come!!!

No one can predict the weather & our week at Stella's Sandcastle was not the best weather-wise. However, on the cloudy & cooler days, we were saved by the great views of the beach, the crashing surf and benefitted from the hot tub! Never mind feeling cooped in in this great place! Needless to say, the sunny & warm days were the best with long walks, bike rides, volleyball,,, all on the beach, just steps away from the house!!! Owner Larry was great, always available if needed. This rental home was enjoyed by 3 generations. Something for all ages!! thanks so much for a memorable time!!

My family, friends and I just spent a week at this beautiful home on the beach for our vacation at the beginning of October 2009. It was even better than we could have imagined. The home was gorgeous and fully stocked of everything we could have needed. There was room for my family of 4, my best friend and her family of 4, my mother in law and another friend...with room to spare! The view was spectacular. Larry, the owner, could not have been more helpful. He made sure we had everything we needed at all times. He even went above and beyond to make sure we had any item that could have made our stay more comfortable and enjoyable. We would stay here again in a heartbeat and would recommend this lovely home to anyone wanting to have a luxurious beach vacation in a perfect little beach town. I am happy to rave even more about this home and most hospitable owner should anyone have any questions.

My family and I spent a truly wonderful week at Stella's Sandcastle. The house has just about everything you could ask for in a beach home. Even my brother, the chef, commented on how great a kitchen it has. We had lots of family members coming and going all week and the owners were very understanding. We all hope to be able to come again next year. I will suggest this house to anyone who needs a lot of room and loves being right there on the beach. Great views from the back deck.

We had a family Christmas here in 2008. The place is very good for a large group with plenty of room for everyone. The beach is excellent and quiet. The house is close to restaurants, shopping, etc. Great place as a base for exploring central Florida or just spending quiet time on the ocean. Larry, the owner, was excellent and he even provided us with a BBQ, eventhough I erroneously thought the place came with one. He was always available if we had any questions and he provided many great recommendations. The kitchen was well stocked and suitable for a large group. The house was clean and has tons of storage space. Stella's Sandcastle would be an ideal retreat for families or larger groups who want to get away from the hustle and bustle of the city or the cold northern weather. I would rent this place again in a heartbeat!!! Cheers!!!
