The Pelican is one of New Smyrna Beach's most beloved oceanfront condominiums. The Pelican was built in 1974 and has 144 individual units that have provided guests and residents with the best New Smyrna Beach stays. Aside from an envied oceanfront location on the driving beach, this complex offers on-site fun such as two swimming pools, two shuffleboard courts, BBQ grills, and a deck with picnic table seating. The Pelican is less than a 5-minute drive from dining and shopping on the popular Flagler Avenue and only 3 minutes away from the local grocery store. We had a wonderful stay! The view was beautiful and it was so nice to be able to open up the sliding doors every morning in the living room. You can walk the beach for miles! 30 ish minute walk to town on the beach.The main space, kitchen/ living room was done very well. Having 2 young girls, we had wished there was some sand toys and 2 extra beach chairs for them as well. ( there were only 2) We would def. recommend and are looking forward to going back!
